Product sales diagnostics

Why does your product sell worse than it should?

BLIND SPOT is a service that shows you where you lose sales and how to fix it - based on what your people already know. An anonymous survey goes to the teams who work with the product every day, and afterwards you get a report with the specific gaps in your processes and our recommendations.

What you get

Where blind spots come from

BLIND SPOT identifies the blind spots in your company - key information about the product that goes unnoticed. Here is where they can come from:

01

Knowledge sits scattered

Sales hears the buyers. Production knows the product's strengths. Trade sees the shelf. Each of them sees a piece, nobody sees the whole.

Everyone here does their own job well. The trouble is that nobody lives between one job and the next.
Production
02

Signals have no channel

Remarks get lost in inboxes, ideas are nodded through and forgotten. The team is not silent, its voice simply never reaches a decision.

I raised the pricing problem with three people. Each one sent me to somebody else. The third time, I let it go.
Sales / KAM
03

No one sees the whole picture

The further you sit from daily work, the less of its detail you see. That is not an accusation, it is distance. And decisions still have to be made.

Honestly? I had no idea we give a fifteen year technical warranty. I am learning it from this survey.

What we look for in the answers

In employees’ answers we look above all for differences in how the same process, its measures and the ownership of each stage are understood, for ideas that have never been voiced before, and for the voice of the market that employees hear from customers but that never reaches decisions.

  • The client is sitting at the table, ready to buy. I tell them I will have the price on Thursday. By Thursday they no longer pick up.
    Sales / KAM
  • Each of us sees a piece. The customer sees the whole, and that is why they buy elsewhere. Stitch the pieces together.
    R&D / Service
  • This is the third time I am writing it down. First by email, then at the briefing. Maybe the third time, anonymously and through an outside firm, somebody will finally read it.
    Sales / KAM
  • We do not need a revolution. We need somebody to tidy up between departments.
